Through the use of Excel, a spreadsheet application in Microsoft used for storing, organizing and manipulating data, I created an Excel crossword puzzle as a self-introduction. First, I had to set my grid. Next I formatted the cell’s height, width and alignment. I made my crossword visually pleasing by filling in the background color and added a border. After placing all the words on my spreadsheet I conditioned the beginning letter of each word so those completing the crossword puzzle will know if they are correct or incorrect. Clues where typed on a separate spreadsheet within the same workbook.
